Gary holds a Ph. D. in Real Estate
with minors in Finance and Economics from the University of Georgia, and
Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from the University
of Minnesota and Minnesota State University, Mankato, respectively. He has
resided in St. Cloud since 1997 and joined Coldwell Banker Commercial—Orion
in 2004. Previously, he was a professor of real estate and finance
at St. Cloud State University and has taught a variety of collegiate and
practitioner real estate courses at other universities in Minnesota, Georgia,
and Washington state, as well as for the Minnesota Association of Assessing
Officers.
Gary has extensive real estate work experience, going back to 1972. Prior
to academia, he had his own brokerage, primarily handling commercial/investment
properties and business opportunities. He has been a fee appraiser, handled
property management and apartment building syndications as well as sold residential
real estate. In January 2006, Gary was awarded the Heavy Hitter Award from
the Coldwell Banker Commercial corporate office in Parsippany, New Jersey.
In his spare time, Gary enjoys home improvement projects, choral singing,
exercising, pets, and playing the organ. Gary is active at Bethlehem Lutheran
Church and various other community groups.
Gary continues to further his education to keep abreast of the changes in
the market place. His work ethic and dedication to customer service along
with Coldwell Banker Commercial-Orion's market strength combine to provide
